Your photos & data
What we keep. The photos you upload (your selfie and the items you check), a smaller copy used for the analysis, your colour profile and your scan results. Location and other hidden photo details are removed on your device before upload.
Why. To work out your colours and score the items you check, and so your profile and scans are still here when you come back. To read the colours, each photo is sent to OpenAI, which analyses it for us; under OpenAI's API terms it isn't used to train their models. We don't use your photos for anything else, and we never sell them.
How long. Until you delete them. There's no automatic expiry.
No account needed. Your data is linked to this browser. If you clear this browser's data you'll lose access to it, so delete it here first if you want it gone.
Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card. We keep the email from your receipt so you can restore purchases on another device.
Delete my data
Permanently deletes your photos, colour profile, scans and purchases from My Hue Studio, and cancels any subscription bought on this device. This can't be undone. (Stripe keeps its own record of past payments, as the law requires.)
